Quay2 Media, an established North East based media relations company, is welcoming new arrival Becky Bowey-Tyler to the team while also celebrating the promotion of Kate Gibson.
Twenty-nine year-old Becky joins the team as PR Operator. She has a range of marketing experience in the chilled food industry to, more recently, the North East house building market. Becky will take on the new challenge of the public relations arena supporting the existing team at Quay2 Media.

So, having plodded my way through seven or so miles of yesterday’s amazing Great North Run, I was pleased to see the eight mile water station looming ahead. I needed it bad. The water stations before (and after) had been manned by willing and youthful volunteers.
All the advice beforehand was not to queue at the start of the water stations and to run on a few yards further to those waiting with water behind. It all happened in an instant, but I’m convinced it gave me that extra boost at the time and the thought of it kept me going for the remainder of the race. (more…)

Well here I am in the throes of my first ever official blog on the new Quay2 Media website….forced into the situation due to my business partners annual family holiday.
And what to talk about? What have I done that can possibly interest any of you poor readers being subjected to this? How about my recent visit to the stunning Hinds Head…Heston’s famous pub?
