About us

CV: Christian Cerisola
(written by Antonia Clifford)

Christian started his media career in journalism. Working on a series of regional publications in West and North Yorkshire, he undertook all the roles a sprightly junior should and worked across the news, sport and entertainment desks before qualifying as a senior journalist. He maintains the highlight of his journalism career was exposing a huge porn video manufacturing site on a farm near Wetherby. Hmm...

He then moved to Freud Communications in London for five years where he worked on a number of entertainment-based clients, including programmes such as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, TFI Friday and The National Lottery.

Christian also worked on major brand clients including Pepsi, Nescafe and M&Ms and managed a host of PR campaigns for Nike. It explains why his only item of clothing that doesn’t carry The Swoosh is his suit.

In 2002, he followed his heart and moved to Newcastle and to Northern Profile PR, laterly acquired by Golley Slater.  There, he directed a number of regional and national campaigns for clients including Welcome Break, Storey Carpets, ScS and Wise Speke (Brewin Dolphin Securities).

It was here – sat side by side for four years – that our professional relationship developed and in September 2006, the partnership was cemented when we left Golley Slater to form Quay2 Media.

Outside the office, Christian loves his sport and if you can’t get him at the office its because he’s playing golf (poorly). Oh, and that following his heart thing? Well, it paid off because he married Frances in 2005, and they now have a daughter Amelia.
